Kaya! Let's look at Lesson 3

Erosion is a process in which materials are worn away from one location and moved to another. Soil erosion occurs due to natural processes such as water flow and wind, occurring quickly during storms, earthquakes, floods, and other major natural events. However, more recently, human activities have impacted the rate (the speed) of soil erosion. Activities such as farming, tree clearing, overgrazing, and urban development (building homes and shops) increase the rate of soil erosion. In this lesson, we will focus on how water impacts soil erosion.
